See what they have recently achieved and ask those who made the improvements how they did it. ***In addition, a Q&A teleconference with Pascal Dennis, author of “Getting the Right Things Done”, “Andy & Me” and “Lean Production Simplified”….Clearly, Pascal is one of the leaders in the Continuous Improvement movement.
Why: To see the application of reliable methods and ask questions of the culture required to achieve.

What: Our networks first visit to Philips, who recently physically reorganized their facility. See and hear how they have improved flow and yield.
Why:See and hear how this team has approached some very technical challanges, using collective thinking, simplified problem solving and common sense.

What: Introduction to Continuous Improvement program. A full day, tacit learning event mixing Powerpoint and hands-on training. Created by the Great Boston Manufacturing Partnership and based on the Toyota Training Center’s introduction class.
Why: It has been referred to me as “the best lean introduction I have ever experienced”. It is very good.

“6s” sharing forms, then auditing and discussing conditions. A really good meeting. We all learned and shared. This is why we get together. None of our members are alone in their, never ending, Lean journey.
